A coach helps others Grow, and yet…
… it is just as essential for every coach to have their own sacred space, to be supported, and to keep growing.
With a combined experience of nearly 35 years in the field of coaching, Patrice and Nathalie, both trained and experienced in supervision and mentoring, offer coaches a dedicated space for growth — wherever they are in their journey.
Supervision
Supervision is designed for coaches who are actively practising.
The ICF defines supervision as “Coaching Supervision is a collaborative learning practice to continually build the capacity of the coach through reflective dialogue for the benefit of both coaches and clients.”
At FORSC, we see supervision first and foremost as a safe and wide space, where the coach can bring whatever is needed to grow in their practice.
FORSC’s approach honours the three essential functions of supervision:
- Formative – supporting the development of the coach’s skills, understanding and capacity in practice.
- Normative – helping the coach maintain high standards of professional quality, including ethical and deontological boundaries.
- Restorative – providing an emotionally supportive space for resourcing and self-care, essential to the coach’s wellbeing and sustainability.
Mentoring
Mentoring is designed for coaches who are early in their career or working towards ICF certification.
It is, in fact, a requirement for obtaining the ICF ACC accreditation, which defines mentoring as “a collaborative process intended to build coaching competence and support professional growth.”
Through constructive feedback and reflective practice, Nathalie and Patrice support coaches through this key stage of their professional development journey.
